sink2Tip of the trade: Too often many people get locked into the concept of having a double bowl kitchen sink. Formerly intended for hand-washing crockery - one bowl to clean and one to rinse – this format is less integral to the family kitchen now as our lifestyles have changed and appliances, such as the dishwasher, have evolved to help us cope with in the modern world. Instead of a double bowl sink, consider having just one large sink which can be used as a workstation for cleaning and peeling vegetables or disposing of slops, and can usually accommodate dirtyoven shelves laid flat in the bottom to soak. The advantage is that your ‘dirty work’ is easily rinsed away, leaving your eye-catching work surfaces always looking their best.
