Design Highlights

Creating Height and Light in a Late Georgian Home. Our design brief was to enhance height and light in this late Georgian home. Through careful selection of materials and finishes, we achieved a harmonious blend of traditional elegance and modern functionality.

Elevating Design Elements
To maximise and reflect light while creating an illusion of height, we opted for a canopy rather than a traditional mantle above the Aga. The sleek stainless steel Sub-Zero refrigeration set against polished granite work surfaces further enhances the brightness and spacious feel. The curved cabinetry mirrors the curved features found in other areas of the property, maintaining a cohesive design throughout the home.

Elegant Furniture and Detailing

Cabinetry: The hand-painted cabinetry is finished in Farrow & Ball Elephant’s Breath, a sophisticated grey hue that complements the oak interior detailing, adding a touch of timeless elegance to the space.

Luxurious Work Surfaces

Granite: The 30mm square edge polished granite work surfaces not only reflect light but also provide a durable and luxurious workspace, perfect for both everyday use and entertaining.

Exquisite Flooring

Travertine: The flooring features honed square edge antique finish travertine, laid in an Opus Romano pattern. This choice adds a classic yet contemporary feel, enhancing the room's overall aesthetic.

State-of-the-Art Appliances

Range Cooker: The kitchen is equipped with a black four-oven Aga, combining traditional style with modern functionality.
Extractor: The bespoke extractor by Westin Designs complements the kitchen's sophisticated look.
Dishwasher: An integrated Miele dishwasher ensures seamless design and efficient cleaning.
Refrigeration: The side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigeration unit, complete with an external ice and water dispenser, offers convenience and style.
Wine Storage: A Sub-Zero wine storage cabinet with dual zones for red and white wines caters to connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike.
Microwave and Oven: The Miele combination microwave and oven provide versatile cooking options.

Sink and taps

Sink: The Kohler Iron Tone under-mounted sink offers a sleek and practical design.
Taps: The Perrin & Rowe Phoenician tap, finished in pewter, adds a touch of classic elegance to the kitchen.
